White Smoke on Startup

Every now and then I notice that I get a big puff of white smoke on startup. Does anyone know what this would be?

Couple of things

There is a collection of oil that leaks down into the bottom of the cylinders over time and it gets burned out at first start. Usually blue in color though. And normal/typical for the design of the engine. We all do it to some degree...sometimes depends on the length of the stay and the angle we parked on.

White smoke that covers the car can be the sign of a failed AOS tank or bellows attaching it to the engine. Does it look like the first picture?

I m not sure it looks like that but is no way that severe. It also doesnot last after the forst initial startup. It seems like the problem on the lin would cause smoke all of the time.
