Rennline makes a beautifully crafted aluminum one. The rear strut brace for the boxster can be difficult to find. Titanium Advantages make a nice one, as well as Schnell. However, the importer for Schnell never seems to have inventory. From time to time, one can find no name, good quality equivalents on Ebay (OBX) at very reasonable prices.

Just curious why you would need a strut brace?

Only those that track the car heavily and push the chassis to the limits (on very sticky tires) could benefit from such a device IMO.

I do a lot of track driving and wish I was in that catagory.

My car is still really tight and I would like to keep it that way; instead of the body deforming and flexing and gradually loosening up over time, the struts will be there.

Personally just going through sweepers on a highway and hitting an expansion joint, rut I can see the structure flex; deform. They would not help my lap times by a long shot. I am just trying to avoid unibody stress.

So Rennline for the front and schnell for the rear? How is the front Schnell as compared to the Rennlline?

Johhny do you have the link for Titanium?

I believe that the web site is www.titaniumadvantage.com. Also, check out Ebay, currently there is a rear strut brace by OBX Racing for sale that appears to be on par with the Schnell at a reasonable price. As for the Rennline, its by far the highest quality piece so far. On another note, my experience with the use of strut braces was not so much for the handling aspect of things, but rather to solidify and stabilze the inherent "cowl shake" that often comes with an open air vehicle. I've found that the addition of these strut braces accomplished exactly that.

I received my rear strut brace from OBX Racing today. I must say, for $69.00 on Ebay, it appears to be as well made as any other product that I have come across for this application - machined light weight aluminum with good "hardware".

JD, please let us know on its installation and effectiveness on body rigidity. I'm going for the same goal as you, to strengthen the unibody and not so much for improving lap times.
