Stupid dyno question - Torque signal
Where's the best/easiest place to pick up a torque signal when putting the car on a dyno?

There's no "torque signal" to be had from the car. |
Are you thinking about an ignition signal?

You need to place the dyno's inductive pick up on the wires that feed one of the coil packs... Then set the dyno's settings to pick up the signal every 720 crank degrees.
This will give you both TQ and HP Vs engine RPM.. This is the settings that I use on my dynojet with the M96 engine. |
Then.. try not to run over/suck up the cable
