2003 Covertible Top speed sensor help.

I would like to be able to put the top up and down while going 10 to 12 mph, but cannot due to some sensor that prevents top movement above about 3 mph. does anybody know how to hack the sensor or remove it etc. there is an e brake sensor also but have already gotten around that. anybody??

Check out Pedro's mod here . It's very easy to do. You do still need to pull the handbrake up 1-2 notches.

yeah i've seen that before. I think I will Pass on paying $300 for a re-wired brainless relay. I can't believe anyone would pay that. maybe these guys selling them are confusing us Boxster owners with 911 Turbo owner's with to much money to know what to do with.

thanks for the link, Nice find. lots of good stuff there. I figured the handbrake thing already. one click gets the e-brake light on the dash with no effect on the actual brakes on my car. :)
