6 spd mated to 2.7L?
there are lots of threads about engine swap but can't find any on just transmission swap. Has anyone contemplated just transmission swap - 6 speed mated to standard boxster with 2.7L engine?

The 6 speed isn't worth the cost or effort. Big gap between 2 and 3 and 5th isn't needed at all.

Ditto. Some gears are way too tall for the 3.2L engine. Feels pretty good on the 996 3.4L though.
