I stand corrected they are 5mm spacers. I bought the from Porsche of Naples. They are oem .I paid 175. Never installed them since i have 19s on my car and have no need for them. Just the spacers would probably cost more then 100. Plus the lugs are the extended ones . So i would say 100 is cheap...

This is a complete set of OEM Porsche 5mm wheel spacers, lug bolts, locks, and key in used condition. They will widen the wheel base 10mm in the front and 10mm in the rear of the car. The MSRP to purchase all these items from any Porsche dealer in the US will be $662.06. Your getting this lightly used set for a fraction of the price. This package is standard on any Porsche vehicle with option code XRP. The part numbers in this kit are:

 997-361-605-90 (Spacer Ring)

997-361-980-09 (Set, Wheel Screw, Anti-Theft Protection)

 996-361-980-00 (Wheel Screw)

 97-present Porsche Boxster including S

 06-present Porsche Cayman including S

 98-present Porsche 911 including S, 4, 4S, GT2, GT3, GT3RS

I think djlomas fitted those tires on 10x17 wheels and did use a spacer. Send him a pm. Really really tall tires.

First off, why do you want to run a 275-40-17? That will make for a decent bit of speedo error. A 275 width tire is also a bit wide to be fitted to a 9" rim.
As to the need for a spacer, unless your tires are bulging out over the time, the need for spacers or not is dictated by the size and offset of the rim, and from what you've posted, you should have plenty of clearance with those wheels.

the only reason i want to run 275/40/17 is they are for track and autox use...not for daily driver...so i dont mind the speedo error at all....
