Floor Mats?

Hey everyone, I'm new to the Boxster universe(I just bought an 04 three days ago, so happy). I'm thinking about buying some new floor mats, is there any difference between the shape of a mat for a Boxster S versus a normal Boxster?

No difference in shape. They are the same.

I think the paasenger side mats in a Bose car are different.

Highly recommend Lloyds mats.

And WELCOME!

I also have an '04 S and have the Bose option in my car. I ordered a set of Lloyd's floor & truck mats (the Bose option made no difference) . My interior is black and the car is red so I had Lloyd's embroider Boxster in red on a black mat with a silver S, I did the same on the truck mats. When they arrived I had to order an extra set of cheap ones.

The reason is the mats looked so good I didn't want to get them dirty! These are truly the highest quality mats you can get, better than OEM that's for sure. I use the cheap ones for everyday and swap out for the nice ones when I go to car shows or when I take my wife out on the town. They really set off the interior.

This is what mine looks like, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-Parts-Accessories__2000-2008-Porsche-996-987-BOXSTER-S-Floor-Mats_W0QQitemZ120324894736QQadiZ2865QQadnZCarQ20Q2 6Q20TruckQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQcmdZViewIte mQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item 120324894736&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A 1171%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 .

WeatherTech Mats here, I buy them for every car I get. Heavy Duty, they hold alot of dirt / liquid, hose them off. It's a car, they are mats, get them dirty using them and enjoy the car, my 2 cents.

I agree that WeatherTech rubber mats are perfect if you have snowy/slushy winters or have to traipse thru unpaved areas.

I have their rubber trunk mats in my Box. Beige to lighten up the black cargo areas.

Which reminds me - you might consider a contrasting mat for your interior. I have factory black mats against a sea of Savanna beige interior, and it really toned down the cockpit. Savanna mats are in storage for next owner.

And sorta like Jaxon, cannot bear to put the black Lloyds in until spring.

FYI... check with your local Dry Cleaners. Many are now doing carpeted mats . One in my area does the set for $5 and they removed dirt, oil, tar stains - came out looking brand new.

LLoyd's rubber mats from eBay. Fit PRECISELY to the lines of the floorboard and are VERY heavy duty.

Highly Recommend!
