headlights won't adjust HELP!
 

I just installed my clear halogens in MY 99 Boxster. I have 2 issues with these lights. The first is that 1 of the headlights works only if the car is running. the second issue is that both headlights are pointing down so much that it is unsafe to drive in darkness w/o the highbeams on. I tried making the vertical adjustment per the manual with no luck . The lights did not move at all. i guess that's what I get for trying to save some money and purchasing them off of fleabay. Any ideas? Thanks

one problem abated
 

Finally got the headlights adjusted. I removed the housing and really cranked the vertcal adjustment. in the manual it seems that you just have to turn the alllen wrench slightly, but these had to be cranked quite a bit. Still have the other issue of the one headlight working only when the car is running.
