rear spoiler failure light

Every time I get my car back from the dealer something else goes wrong with it, in the last 6 months I have had to replace the window mechanism, the airbag sensors and now the spoiler detector failure light is coming on. does anyone know how to fix this without taking it to the dealer, or if it has to go to the dealer what will be required to fix it. I would like to check if I am getting conned by going pre armed with the correct information. Also for some reason my clock is running slow, what's that all about???

I have a similar issue...I think. My light comes on, but it is because the spoiler does not retract. I think I have narrowed it down to a bad relay. The relay is in the trunk on the drivers side. Its the 3rd one from the left on the bottom row.

I'll be replacing mine in the next week or so. I'll let you know if that works or not.
