Do you Wave ??

Last weekend I rode out to the Berkshires with a bunch of harleys(I'm on my harley too). Every group of bikers we passed waved. The further out from the city we got the more it made sense. We got waves from custom car guys too. Motor heads. I guess.

In my porsche I am more likely to get a wave from a Volkswagon Golf than a Porsche 911. I just find it odd.

One of my buddies got a flat in the middle of nowhere. (Actually, it's not so bad because farms always have lots of tools and always an air compressor.) While i was off knocking on doors, a biker group passing by stopped and offerred assistance. Would a passing porsche owner do likewise if I were broke-down in my boxster? I wonder....

wild1poet2, I would stop and help another Porsche owner.

And, us 987 guys (and gals) are equiped with a built-in air compressor! We don't have a spare, though.

Grizz, that's gonna need some duct tape..... LOL

my car's an '04 and has a spare but I think the newer ones just have a can of "fix o flat". Yikes..... the techs must love that..... lol
