Performance Software/CHIPS

I picked up a copy of excellence, and saw a number of ads for "performance software/chips" ads in the magazine.

One is Revo Technik, another Powerchip and so on.

Are they worth putting on? Do they in any way invalidate the warranty or decrease the reliability of my engine?

I've got a 2007 Boxster S, and the available power is GREAT, but, if I could add a little more horsepower, well, you know...

Thanks,
Michael

No, yes, yes. Check out the search function. There are reams of threads discussing this.

To keep it short and simple, no.

Yes they void warranty.

Go out and push your car in turns and tell me that it doesn't have too much power. You have a 07' S,those things are little rockets!
