Driver seat adjusting switch
 

Does anyone know where to buy a new switch for the drivers seat back rest? I am only able to find the whole assembly (at $430+). I am only interested in the switch. Even a used one would be OK. 1997 Boxster.

You cannot simply buy the switch for the electric seat back. My 97 had the same problem and I ended up buying the whole plate and the wiring.

However, the price you were quoted was obviously at a local stealership's parts counter, right?
