This is one for you guys who have installed the strut braces on your Boxsters. Is the ride quality the same with the strut braces installed or is it more harsh? I like the ride quality as is with the RoW 030 and I don't want to mess with it too much. I'm worried about going over a pot hot and hearing louds BANGS and what not if I have them installed. Thanks in advance.

You won't notice any difference.

No difference here either regarding ride quality.

Ride quality the same....actually after 140k miles i notice less creaks and rattles with the brace.

The strut braces will make the car handle much better as they stiffen the chassis not the suspension. I have had mine on since early this year and I really love them. They will make your car corner much better and will not be a detriment to your ride quality. You won't regret it. As a side note-most of the racing community uses the front strut braces but feels the back are not necessary. For normal street driving I would agree. You may want to consider the rears if you track or autocross though.

Thanks for all the input guys! Looks like I'm gonna buy both and just get the front in from the get-go since it's so easy and install the rear when I have time.

Some say they felt a difference, some don't. I have both in aluminum on my 2000s. There was absolutely no perceptible difference in steering response or cornering behavior for me. Even so, they do add rigidity and are worth the minimal $250 it cost.

I don't know if I lucked out or not but the rear installed about as easy as the front regardless of all the PITA experiences posted here on the rear brace. It was a great addition for me. Good luck.
