Lousy noise on the hard top on the Boxster 2002

More details on the noise, please.... type of sound, when exactly does it happen, etc...

the type of sound is like the plastic crunching specially whne the car makes a torsion movement

So it sounds like plastic crunching when the car twists? And you indicate "hard top" (vs. "soft") above - there have been several prior posts about the attachment hardware for the rear of the hard top... see for example:

Well I've already done that stuff above that you gave me before, but its still making the noise.. any other reasons?

Bough a used hardtop. Squeeked like hell. Lubricated all the rubbers. Still squeeked like hell. Adjusted the complete system and made it more loose / float on the car. Now it is perfect.

Dig into some www.ppbb.com archives for hardtop adjustments...

Mark.

Mark, i have a question for you: do you have any link with a picture with a detailed instruction? because at PPBB i didnt find any.

Thanks
