Oil Leak?!?!?!
I let the car sit for a week and found this after I took out for a spin tonight. Tomorrow I'm installing a new clutch slave cylinder since the current ones bleeder valve is stripped,so I will check to see if the spark plug tube above is leaking. Anyone have any suggestions? I remember seeing a link on the web where some guy had a similar leak(on his Boxster),removed the bolt, applied something to the bolt, reinstalled and never had a problem again, does anyone know the website?

Looks like your spark plug tubes are leaking. I just replaced mine. The 'O' rings were worn out and had a continuous flat spot all the way around. It was pretty easy, and cheap, to do, as I was replacing my plugs at the same time. Plug removal isn't necessary to yank the tubes though.

That's what I was thinking. I was too tired today to check more into it because I was fighting with the install of the new clutch slave cylinder. I will check more into it on Tuesday when I have have some free time. Thanks for the input, was yours leaking oil where mine is?

Blinkwatt,
Yep, my heads looked exactly like yours, on both sides. When I pulled the tubes I notcied both 'O' rings had a continuous flat spot the entire circuference. I replaced all six tubes and 'O' rings and cleaned the head so that I can tell if they start leaking again. I was replacing the plugs at the same time and only added a few minutes time, and seemed well worth it for how cheap the tubes and 'O' rings were. Good luck. Jeff |
Blink what's this about a stripped slave cylinder bleeder valve? Did you strip it trying to bleed it?
