chrome?
just me but I hate the chrome look on high end cars such as Porsche and BMW, I dont like the bling bling look plus they are a pain to take care of but if you have the time and patience and the will go ahead and enjoy. I have 19" on my 01 S Carrera style and i am happy with.

Have you considered the Carrera lights from wheel dynamics? They're five spoke and look factory...and the offsets are correct.

turbo twists were a factory option at one point, that may be the reason. although, there must be different styles of turbo twists. I was looking at my car sitting next to my dad's turbo and his wheels are still different than mine. Same year, mine are authentic turbo rims as they have a 996 part number on the back, but a slightly different pattern. His look more aggressive than mine.

i didn't meen 'turbo twists' per se, i meant TURBO, as in from a 996 turbo. the 8.5" front and 11" rears with these offsets are directly from the turbo.

they fit under the fender
18 x 10.5 275/35 ZR18
they seem to fit just fine, no rubbing
I had to put on 7MM spacers to clear the springs.

I am running 993 Turbo hollow spokes, which are 18x10 at the rear with ET40 offset, no spacers. The ET40 pushes the wheel about 5mm too far outboard. It is fine with stock suspension, but I'd be worried going lower with running major camber.

I just ordered 7mm spacers for 10 x 18 (265/35) with 52 offset. I should be OK?

Now I know I'm OK. Yesterday I got my spacers and 52mm offset 10x18 are OK even with 5mm spacers.
