Dammit!
I sheared the head off a caliper frame bolt while doing the brakes on my DD.
Where I live, a lot of road salt gets used in for he winter, and I've never had this stupidity happen on all the other old beaters I've had over the years.
Calling in my niece's mechanic husband to lend a hand with the drill and easy-outs.

Tarett sells a stud kit for that now, it is like $20 and (when I got mine) has enough to do more than 1 986, since the kit is designed to fit multiple models of car. Might be something to consider as a replacement when you get this fixed.

If you don't have the brakes on and off a lot, some anti-seize would probably do the trick for next time.

This was on my '07 Forester.
My Subaru mechanic had it sorted out in an hour and a half and guaranteed it would have taken me at least twice as long.
He pulled the hub and did it on the bench. A lot of drilling.
Trust me, all the fasteners are getting a liberal coating of anti-sieze this time around.
