It's that time of the summer...
Bloody ragweed allergies are making everyone at my place suffer.
Can't wait for the first killing frost... http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1409402414.jpg Photo borrowed from elsewhere on the 'net, but illustrates the point perfectly. |
Yes, but killing frost is also a sign that winter is rolling in. Plus, it makes my morning commute very chilly with the top down!

You're from Canada. Just wear a toque and turn up the heater already.
:D |
Out by us it's Texas Sage. We actually had a pretty wet August (the monsoons brought us more rain in August then the rest of the year combined) and the Texas Sage is now in full bloom. It's still hot out here but 8 months of spring is around the corner and the hardtop will be coming off.

Hey, if you can't be handsome, at least be handy.

You get Red Green in Texas? Really? How about TPB?
Btw, the correct quote is "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." |

Love the Maritimes. Used to vacation on PEI every summer in the 70's when I lived in New England. And I still have my own toque. TO |
That's awesome - Canadian culture goes international. Next you'll be getting reruns of the Tommy Hunter Show and the Don Messer Jubilee!

Getting Labatt's Blue (my preferred brew) is very difficult to get here in Texas.
Go figure. TO |
