Our New Year's Eve tradition:

Filet mignon - Prime (restaurant quality)
Potatoes Dauphinoise (back in the day the great chefs named their creations for their girlfriend/mistress)
Fresh veggies (whatever the missus has in mind, she's good at that)
Her most excellent salad (and a great homemade dressing to boot)
A fine claret

We never last until the ball drops down, but that's OK, we make up for it in the morning.

Well, the wifey and 3 kids just finished the first dinner of 2014 with a taste test; Pulled Pork Barbeque that was cooked for over 30 hours. The 3 sauces used each applied in 3 different bowls during cooking; Montgomery Inn, Jack Daniels and Chubbys (Medium). It was unanimous; Chubbys.

Thanks for the sauce JD, we now know what we will be buying from here on out. To everyone else, Have a Great 2014 and may your Porsche drives be ever rewarding!!!!!!!
