Talking *Shameless site plug* Listburn

Hey Fellas,
I've been working on a site for a few months now and I think it's ready for a "pre-launch"!

It aims to compete with Craigslist and other classified type sites, but has a bit more options and currently I have it strictly for ITEMS (none of the job listing/forums/housing/"men seeking men" sections... just ITEMS!)

Obviously sites like this work better when there's actually stuff to search for and find, so if anyone is bored and wants to list their used (or new?) items on a site other than craigslist, give Listburn - Free Classifieds Done Right a try.

I've created it with the ability to NOT have to register, which makes listing a little bit quicker.

Would love for you guys to give it a shot and offer some feedback on what you like and don't like! There's some parts that are still a work in progress, but I'm working on it daily.

Thanks guys.

Steve

Update! A buddy who is a Twitter addict (it's crazy...) suggested I implement some kind of mechanism to allow "Tweets" (i hate that word) be sent whenever a listing gets listed in his area containing certain keywords.

Well, as much as I don't understand the draw to Twitter, I have implemented that functionality. If you perform a search, say for "porsche litronics", and then click a specific city link, you'll be given the option to "subscribe" to that search so that any time a listing is done in that city that contains "porsche litronics", you'll get a "Tweet" (there's that word again..) with a link to the item. I guess his idea was so that he wouldn't have to search daily for the same stuff to see if anything new was posted. Makes sense.

Any feedback at all fellas? Try posting some old car parts, junk lying around, or if you have a small business, throw it up there! Looking to increase the number of listings before advertising it to the rest of the Interwebz!
