Houston has a monthly citywide get-together as I've heard about in other cities. I went today and it was quite fun... Lots of classics, exotics, and Porsches... But not one Boxster or Cayman :ah:

We'll fix that next month I plan to shine up the black hole for dead presidents and represent!

I found this odd because there were a bunch of not-so-exotic cars there, like new chargers and camaros and mustangs.

I attended the Charlotte gathering today along with tuanle16 and WhipE350.

I'm amazed at the turnout each month. Like yours there are lots of exotics, muscle cars, classics, and everything else you can imagine.

Surprisingly tons of Porsches really show up in Charlotte. Mostly 911's, but a fair share of Caymans (or is Caymen plural of Cayman?), usually a 928 or two, a 944 or 968 or two, and usually only one or two Boxsters. Today was an exception with at least 5 Boxsters.

There were so many cars today that I gave up on taking as many pictures as I wanted to take. I took some and will post them tomorrow or Monday.

We spent a lot of time talking to the owner of a new Cayman R. What a fantastic machine!

That was the group from the Houston Performance Driving forum. The use the C&C event as their monthly meet. I passed by that area around noon. It was a nice morning for a cruise with the top down.
