Any Psychiatrists/Psychologists ?

A couple of months back I posted a thread regarding the reconditioning of my oem radio knobs (I mean buttons) . Well, in addition to the self-satisfaction that I've experienced having restored them to like new condition, I continuously find myself needing to touch them . In fact, this act often extends into a prolonged engagement of fondling and caressing . Interestingly, this behavior is not just limited to when I'm driving . Indeed, I often find myself needing to satisfy this temptation at various times of the day and evening . Could this be the sign of what psychiatrists and psychologists often refer to as "a bad nipple stage " ?

knobs

guess it would depend if you are tweaking Rush's or Howie's knobs. Also, do you find yourself twisting them more than pushing on them? And most importantly, I do hope you don't "Knob" while driving.

I find myself both twisting and pushing them . And, from time to time, flicking them as well .

Not uncommon. I've checked countless porn sites and noted many shameless displays of great radio knobs in the bizarre practices section. Very popular.

Do you really want to break the cycle? I think I can help but I must have your full commitment.

As long as it doesn't involve anything radical like Dr. Leo Marvin's "Death Therapy" !

How many psychiatrists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Only one. But the bulb genuinely must desire change.

It's happening again ! After listening to the radio during a nice drive the other day, I've once again found myself in an unbridled state of knob (I mean button) fondling . It's become so insatiable for me that I've been forced to remove the radio altogether and remand it to a "shelter" . How can I stop this madness ??? Anyone ?

Just re-install the original knobs. The peeling soft-touch finish and sticky texture should be enough to turn anyone off!

Be grateful that you don't have an 8-track player. Lord knows what trouble that would get you into...
