foglight bulb upgrade

Will these fit in the foglight and will they burn the lense like happens to the headlight when you put these in .ebay Item number:290054642677. My boxster is 1997 ..

I would think so, you are replacing a 55W with a 100W bulb.
(burn that is)

Also The fog light on a 97 is H7 not H8
