Redwood Redwood Join Date: Mar 2023 Location: California Posts: 2	Redwood Hello, I’m in the process of purchasing my 1st Porsche. It’s a 2000 Boxster S w/ manual trans. The car has only 4,700 miles, and has been covered in the garage for twenty plus years. I’m just learning about the IMS bearing issue. Do to the low mileage, I’m going to go ahead and have the replacement bearing installed. Porsche dealerships quoted me any wares from $3,900 - $4,600. Is this amount inline with what others have paid? Thanks
