Hi everyone,

I just purchased my first Porsche. It is a 03 Boxster base.

Although I have been a car guy/former mechanic, it is only my second venture into the European/German world. I was always into Japanese imports (NSX, Rx7, R32GTR), and was never really into Audi/BMW/Mercedes. I am not knocking on them but it's mostly because I see what it takes ($$$) to own and maintain those cars.

My 1st European/German was a 2004 Mini Cooper 10 years ago. Bought it for my wife because it was her dream to own a Mini. Had a for a few years with no issue luckily, then sold it. Now she decided she wants a Porsche convertible, I figured let me try a boxster out. Cant afford a 911 and always like mid-engine car.

I want to thank everyone in advance for questions that I will probably be asking in the future.

Take care all and be safe out there.

2005 Booster won’t start

I replaced fuses and disconnect the battery. When I tried to start the car it wouldn’t start and reported ABS failure and PSM failure. Any advice on how to start car and clear the codes. The car never moved from the garage.

Hi, I think you posted in the wrong placed. But I would connect a OBDII scanner and see what it reads
