Engin oil
 

Hi all,
I am new here, got a 1999 Boxster and don't know what oil I should use vor the next oil change

A lot of people run Mobil 1. I did for years.

I recently switched to Shell Rotella T6 0w-50 and the engine has never been happier. I had a tick at cold start that no longer exists and it just feels smoother (probably placebo).

If you want to go absolute top shelf, Joe Gibbs DT40, but it’s ridiculously expensive and probably overkill.

Mobile 1, 0-40W. Whatever you choose decide your climate for proper weight and ensure always "100% synthetic"

Mobil-1, in 0W-40 weight, hands down.
