Bought a 2000 Porsche Boxster recently

Hello

Bought this 986 Porsche Boxster recently. Two weeks after getting the car, the TC Off button keep turning on. With it is a flashing battery and ABS light.

Whilst the TC Off button doesnt stay on constantly, the battery light keeps flashing. Was told its either a loose connection or its the alternator.

I have an appt with a Porsche dealer next week but need to know if anyone has experienced this and if I can drive the car in the meantime.

Look forward to getting a response.

Thanks
L

Yes, you can drive it. This is almost always a bad battery or alternator. A lot of parts shops will test them for free.
