New Boxster 3.4 owner
Hello all. After lurking here for years I finally bought my first Porsche
http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1488264815.jpg If it looks familiar that's because it's JAAY's old 3.4 Boxster. Thankfully Jay was a great guy to deal with and the transaction itself was easy, but everything else before and after that has been a test of grit. Worst part was when the truck driver decided to fall off the face of the earth on pickup day and I had to jump into this loud, stiff, modded Porsche that I knew nothing about and drive it for 24 hours straight from a snow storm in NY to Miami, stopping only for gas and making it just in time to take a shower and head to work with bloodshot eyes. Domino effect took place and two weeks later I'm still paying for it with a massive cold. But in a strange way it's like I had to earn this car and it makes me appreciate it even more! Looking forward to many years of happy Boxstering  |

You got a really nice car there Javi, I followed Jaay through his build and If I lived a little closer I'd have bought that car for sure  |
Congrats. I don't know much about the history/build of the car; I think I saw it listed on reenlist and found it intriguing. In any event, congrats. And that you've survived that I-95 drive is a testament to your determination!
