Sidevents on an '02

Hi I've had my boxster for about 6 months. I was wondering if anyone had advice for reinstalling a side vent, my driver side isnt totally flush and its obviously in need of some of the clips to re-engage. Has anyone fixed this issue? Thanks in advance!

The drivers side and the passenger's side are different by design. I trust you have found this by now.
