Pulling the trigger
 

After working for years doing tons of odd jobs (from photography to cleaning up human feces), I finally have my own business making decent money. To celebrate, I've decided to buy a Porsche Boxster.

I've saved enough money to buy a used one but I'll probably wait till winter to see if I can get a good deal on one. I'm pretty excited as I've never owned any as nice a Porsche before.

I gotta admit I was surprised to find such venom coming from people regarding this car. Where does this come from?

Congrat's on the decision. Winter is a good time to get a good deal but just be patient and you might find a great deal at any time. In this economy there are more cars for sale than buyers so you can be picky and drive a hard bargain.

Haters are going to hate. Do your research on the car and then ignore them.

I hope that your new business is in photography and not the alternative you mentioned!

LOL. I'm actually a doctor. It appears that a lot of the unsightly things I had to clean up prepared me for some of the more unpleasant aspects of the job. :)

Never got anything but nice comments nearly every time I took mine out over 5 years of 2 Boxsters ownership in two states.
