First Porsche Boxster and loving it!

Hi there

Well this is my first Porsche and my first roadster and I am loving it!

I previously had a Subaru Impreza WRX which I loved. But unfortunately a little old lady crashed into it while it was parked outside my house in London with the end result being it was scrapped.

I was then pondering a Land Cruiser, something totally different when I was convinced by my cousin that I should test drive a Boxster S. It was then at about 5500rpm when a smile appeared on my face and so a new love affair has started.

It's pretty much standard with the exception of a new cd player and some tasteful Porsche extras including the 18" turbo wheels and the sport seats.

I have already asked a question or 2 on the form and am hoping to learn quiet a bit about the car and the community that follows it and hopefully I will be able to add something to it.

Cheers,

Dylan.

Welcome

Congrats! And, welcome aboard. Using the search function on this board you'll find an unbelievable treasure trove of information -- and a bit of humor here and there. Like you, I loved my WRX, but when it comes to Porsche there simply is no substitute.
ps I think JC Whitney has a kit to help you move the steering wheel to the correct side. :)

Not sure that would be the best option for me..... Although it might be useful if I decide to spend most of my time in the opposite lane overtaking.
