RPM Range

I am a new Porsche Boxster owner; 2004 Boxster S Anniversary Edition.
My question is: what RPM range is good to keep the engine before shifting?
This question is for "normal" driving around town.

I try to keep it between 3 and 4k around town during normal driving, motor warmed up completely. Full throttle acceleration, around 4.5 to 6.5k.

Easy around town and warm up miles: 2-4k
Spirited highway miles: 3-5k
Going for it: 4-6k
