Help on DSP installation thru stereo

I'm trying to install a DSP unit (digital sound processor) in my 01 Boxster S with standard stereo equip. Back when I had a 00 Boxster, I had the stereo store that put in new equipt, take the older stuff out and all they could do was cut the wiring harness at the amp. and stereo and leave me about 18" of wires on each end. After I traded that car and got the one I have now, I'm wanting to add the DSP unit back into the center console in lieu of the cup holders. At the DSP unit head, there are 8 wires coming out, but at the amp head side, there about 18 wires. Is there any one out there with a wiring diagram to know how this thing plugs in. ? It's not a simple plug in an d go.
