Im getting there

Its been a rough road but I am making progress. Since the site is so slow, I thought the new logo with the tumbleweed was appropriate

Thumbs up New look

Hey, I see we are making some progress. I like it. However, I wonder why you resized the logo, looks too small to me. In my opinion, you have too much white space now to the right of the forum graphic. Personally, I would center the image. I compared the original size to what you are using, quite a difference.

Now this goes really well with the Boxster, my new 12" AlBook. A match made in heaven (and Cupertino and Stuttgart). Hehe. A kick butt little laptop!

EDIT: How come "IMG" "/IMG" is turned off? I am also not able to attach an image. Oh well, just click on the links I guess. I have noticed that very often HTML code and [IMG] code are OFF, then ON again. If you are going to keep the image like it is, I really think the white space to the right of it should be filled with something. Just my 2 cents.

EDIT #2: Check the WE APPEAR TO HAVE A CONTEST WINNER thread for the images. IMG code is on in that thread, not in this one. Weird. This is the URL for the thread.

Post One more thing about the new look

The nav bar at the top is aligned to the left, the nav bar at the bottom of a post is centered. They should both be the same really, either left aligned or centered. Personally I like centered better. Another generous 2 cents! FWIW.

Question What happened to the number of posts indicator?

What happened to the number of posts indicator? I don't see that anymore.

Overall, I have to say the site looks a lot cleaner. A few tweaks and I think you have it nailed Jorge.

Thumbs up Keep up the good work!

New site looks great! Good to know in the midst of the winter doldrums that the site is still alive and you devote the time and energy to keep it fresh. As for the rest, the sunshine soliders of the Boxster world will arise from their winter hibernation to find the rest of us already up and gone.

Want more traffic?

JT:
..., you've gotta sell sex man. Works all the time...
Maybe a page that gets updated with Porsche chicks or several animated avatar's of chicks, twins etc.

My personal opinion. Certainly gets my attention.

Best,

Way to go JT !

I don't care who's pic it is...just keep em coming!

Would be nice if we had like a forum with pics of women & boxsters. (and don't forget those animated gif's avatars with girls jumping on trampolines!)

Hmm, wonder how I can post my contributions ?

Talking You mean something like this? Animated gif.

Is this kind of what you had in mind?

Hey Jorge, what is it with the problem that in some threads the "IMG"tag is OFF and in others it is ON? This really makes it tough to post images when it is not consistently ON througout the site. It would really be nice if that were usable all the time in every thread. Can you please look into that?

Guess you have to click the link to see this one.

redheds, blonds, brunettes, black-hair: Why must one be so picky? As long as they like P-cars, have "specific" qualities.......
