DIY: DB Killer Install

Heard someone talk about using DB Killers on the $250 eBay exhaust. I already have that exhaust, so I finally got around to doing it and it really works to eliminate the drone. A $17, 3 minute upgrade! Made a DIY video:

Saw your vid on FB yesterday. Nice vid.

It reminded me of a post here recently where someone asked why would someone buy a noisier setup just to buy more parts to quiet it down. Also... there was another post where someone mentioned iot was the, IIRC, resonance of the pipes that was causing the drone and that a strategically placed hole somewhere in the setup elimninated the drone.

I'm wondering... did you try to eliminate the drone with just one of those inserts?

Cheers!

No, I didn’t try with just one. Good idea though!

Oh wow, what a change of tone. Good mod if you are fed-up with that drone sound. Nice YT channel btw, good work, Subscribed + Bell ON!

ps. can't have only one, possibly need both installed to maintain that back pressure balanced in the system, I'd think (no-expert advice, I could be wrong)

Thank you sir!

And the back pressure balance seems like a solid point.

The back pressure... I learn something new every day.

Thanks!
