Problems with Engine Transplant

Hi guys and gals,

Im after a little help. Ive recently (well last year) swapped the engine from 2002 Boxster S in to a 2001S. The physical change was a challenge but its all in ok.

Im struggling to get the engine to even turn-over, there is no fuel pump sound. Ive also fitted the ECU and Immobiliser from the 2002 car. I purchased an OBD2 reader, but it won't connect. Ive re-pinned the plugs and most wires match, save for the difference in accessories between the two cars.

Ive put a feed to the starter solenoid and the engine does turn-over.

Its spent too long in the garage and needs to see some sunshine! Please help
