Help--seat bottom
Hi guys,
Need help. While taking out seat to recondition the passenger side leather, a rubber tube dropped out and I didn't see where it came from. It's 15-18 inches long with metal pieces protruding from each end about 1-2 inches long. Anyone have any idea what they are and where they go? Could they go into the top of the seat motors? What do they do? Thanks, Larry |
If you post this in the "General Discussions" forum, you'll probably get more responses than you would in the "DIY Project Guides" forum ;)
Also, a picture would help. You are a life saver
Your illustrations showed me exactly where it goes. It's on the bottom not the seat backi. It's #5 in the fourth illustration. Not sure what it does but at least I know where it goes. Any idea what it does? Thanks, Larry |
No problem. ;)
It appears to be the seat back position adjust drive cable. Here is the link for the parts catalog (illustrations showing every last nut and bolt). 986_USA_KATALOG.pdf http://i875.photobucket.com/albums/a...875E13A32A.png |
