Just got my '01 S yesterday and I'm interested. I think the Miata I owned years ago has ruined me for other shifters.

I loved my miata gearbox too !

I need you to PM me your informations (Name, adress, phone, and e-mail) so I can put you on my list.

I think most of the people that wanted one in the last month are in vacation, so I might have to wait for them if I can't find enough people :/

I think I solved my problem

I put some play back into the end bearings...not much just a tiny amount. I then used three 1/4 inch washers on the front two studs and 1 washer each on the back two studs of the mounting bolts for the shifter. This gave a slightly front up a tiny bit and moved the cables a bit further away from the "hump"

I took her out tonight and the shifting was much better than before
