I'm thinking if you're selling the complete package one might just sell their existing windscreen making the purchase of your part a no-brainer. You know... offset the expense of the "cool" part by selling the "boring" part.

Nope, not as good; ITS TEN TIME BETTER!!! Literally optic-quality clear, no defect, same material (pmma) and professionally coated (scratch/chemical resist). Not all that bad, Bran ;) The brake feature is optional of course, just omit the extra connection.

*Update*

I've seen that our RGB Led PCB mfg was completed today so once we receive this (late weekend?) we'll be able to prototype on the micro and get drivers working. Also ordered ICs for the driver, we'll try the TI's TLC59731 (single-wire driver) and a ULN2003 Darlington transistor arrays. We are dealing with common anode leds here so not exactly sure who will win the switching job, let's see when we get the parts.

Once we have the RGB and Brightness circuit all dialed-in, we'll move on to an input for the brake signal and wrap this for the electronic part of the upgrade. Should be easy, not!

Starter986, snap it in... "plug" it into some juice... and your are good to go, correct:
1. simply flip out the old panel
2. drill a miniature 3mm diameter hole in the bracket's bottom groove (for the 3mmOD wire)
3. Slide in the new SkyBreaker
4. Place the controller in the console compartment, run the wiring down to the ashtray's 12Vdc
5. Done. The whole install takes 30-45min max

The panel cutting is done by myself and so are all those fancy custom designs you saw. I'll post & PM on the ordering procedures when we are ready to crack on the production. *Note* that you can always design your own and send over the vector file if you need something really special (some did that too). For "vector" graphic design use https://inkscape.org (no jpeg, png, or anything pixelated... need "vector" AI, SVG, EPS, etc).

I'd be more than happy to get you an exact replica of the existing panel with a quality etch of your choice at a reasonable price. That without any illumination or additional hardware as you request (i.e. just the panel & etch job).

If you are happy with this let us know here on the thread and I'll put you in. The more we are for the panel min.qty order & coating the better! (supplier/coater won't budge under 50x (min.qty) and I don't want all that extra to be on "my tab" lol
