				A favour please.......

.... I recently debadged the Boxster and ordered from the states, 3 white Porsche font numbers "986" in white for her rear........
Could somebody measure the distance from the boot ( trunk ) lid edge to the bottom of the "Boxster" emblem for me please so I can position my numbers...? I want to try and maintain the factory spacings if I can.

White numbers on black bodywork is gonna look pretty nice me thinks...

Thanks in advance.

Cheers Pal, I worked on 50mm from the spoiler, and, if you look closely, you'll see a slight crease down the middle of the boot, you have to look closely though to see it.......... am based in Staffordshire.....Good luck.

There is probably a lot of creases in my boot ha. I will get it done and report back. Ordered yesterday so should not take too long to send.

Can't grumble with that. I ordered from the states and takes less time than if I ordered something off of eBay here in the UK
I will post some pics when I get them on. I wanted to go a bit different but pretty hard to do. I might mount the boxster slightly above the 986s and see how that looks. Will need a spray white though.

I was thinking to go modern with the font like on the newer shape Porsches. I'm committed now though so will stick semi original and see how it goes. White does look better on darker cars. My black on blue is not really for me.

Once I have the badge on I think I will respray the wheels same colour. I don't watch to go to OTT

I think I just enjoy tinkering |

That company has let me down. Said they have no white numbering for 5 weeks. Not a biggy as I had a change of plan. I think I will go with the modern Porsche badge on the back instead
