Becker 220 Aux Cable - Noise Reduction??
I am the new owner of a 2002 Boxster and it has the Becker 220 Radio in it. The AUX input is already set up on the head unit but I need to buy and install the cable/adaptor.
I see some on ebay for cheap and then Stefan at SW Stereo Specialists has one for $29.95. I had read that on some of these (maybe just the ones for the iPhones) need a noise cancellation circuit. Stefan said only the iPhone cables come with noise reduction, Can I just buy the one from Stefan and plug my Android phone it and have music? or for that matter the cheap ebay one? Thanks Mike |
I bought the one directly from Becker years ago. I think it was under $30. It works fine, without noise.
If you don't run power to your device, you should have no problem with audio noise, regardless of whose harnes you use. |
I'm in UK and I fit an aux cable into the back of the Becker in place of the CD changer. I run my iPhone from this and the sound is excellent (for a Becker that is….). Cable cost me £5 ($8ish).
