To good to be true
While doing an oil chage I notice one of the inside cv boots has a tear on our 2001 s box. I was considering pulling both sides out and changing all the boots. Ran into this online new axle assembly. Anyone know why these are so cheap? And would you use them? Thanks

I had the same question about 3 years ago. I PM'd several folks whose opinions I respected, and (IIRC) got basically this: FEQ equipment is Chinese-made which, in some instances, ends up being good quality. In others, not so much. The general consensus was that they may be fine, but none of the people I talked with would be willing to take that chance. The one exception being if you weren't planning on keeping the car long before selling it.

No experience with FEQ. But I have had bad experiences with Chinese suspension/driveline parts. I put Beck/Arnley (Made in China) upper control arms on my Lex GS, all of the rubber rotted inside of 8 months...
If you do go with them, let us know how they are... |
Thank you. Alxe grease hands it is.!
