Boxster S with GT3RS deck and spoiler on

I couldn't find the right spoiler for my 986S, so I bought a GT3 RS spoiler and deck cut it half and put on my 986S for street and switch the top wing to GT3 RS carbon wing when I goes into track much lighter

but my car doesn't running right....
I guess too much air and fuel from the ECU turning .......running too rich
Every time when I went high RPM and shift up, blue fire came out from my exhaust....which is really BAD

Well... the groceries in your rear trunk will be well ventilated. Looks cool to an extent, but I don't really care for the fake vents and all. I really like the front bumper though, who makes that? The rear lower diffuser looks cool too and the exhaust is certainly different. If you actually custom fabricated an exhaust that may be kind of cool, but if it's just another exhaust tip welded below the other two... well then it's a bit cheezy in my book.

Im a architecture designer in SF, I love to do my own design
Most of the works I done by myself I custom made my straight triple exhaust, the concept was from LEXUS LFA (but too loud)

The front bumper is GT3 RS bumper and I modified the opening by my own and combine with AUDI S4 Lip.

The rear lower diffuser I made by my own too try to give it some sport looks

Those two vents on my trunk has two soft pipes under it and goes into my engine base.

I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other but it does make the rear end of your Box car look very busy.

I do recommend that you get your bumperettes painted. They caught my eye at very first glance.

BTW, pics look like they were taken on Treasure Island under the bay bridge. Right?

Those two bumperettes used to be silver for the boxster S. I painted to black.
I do agree with your opinion. I should paint it back to silver

Your work looks like it is of high quality, good job. Part of the fun of our cars is making them our own. I know it is not realistic, but it would be fun to see what the air-flow patterns are like with the wing in a wind-tunnel with smoke trails.

I have often wondered what smoke patterns looked like with our stock cars with top up, top down. That is, how smooth or laminar the air flow patterns are. Anyone have links to pics of such,

I should follow up too Have a space where I can record all my happiness and sadness of my hobby. also record what I learned from every steps. The most important thing is to record how many times I have cut myself by making things happen.

I don't know... usually I think that painted bumperettes look better, but this is one case where I prefer the black. His car has a good theme going in contrasting silver and black. The body is silver, but the rims, air intakes, rear trunk exhaust thingies, rear lower diffuser, and bottom section of rear trunk are all black. It kind of goes with the color scheme to also have the bumperettes in black then.

This is the GT3 RS front bumper for the 996/986. I don't think that's what you put on your car... modified or not.

What your front bumper looks like to me is a 996 bumper with turbo-style headlights like Jeph's bumper in the attached picture. The contour and shape of the radiator openings is the same. I'm assuming then that you modified the headlight cutouts to work with your 986 lights and added a lip at the bottom. It looks nice either way. I like what you've done to the bumper. Obviously you have some very good fabrication skills.

Especially for the colors contrast. I did spend sometime to decide where should I keep silver and where should go for black. Hopefully the result not to bad for everyone I even thinking about to paint the whole top to black....I don't know...to give it even stronger color contrast...

A bit busy to my taste on the back but I do recognize the fact that beauty is in the eye of the beholder!
That said, I love the GT3 RS ing and I have been looking for a similar aftermarket solution for the Boxster. I wouldn't dare put it on until a proper engine is there to back it up (3.6 or 3.8 conversion).
Still, I would love to see how it looks with the track carbon fiber wing on. Any pics?

Did you buy the GT3 deck assembly from Porsche?
How difficult was it to fit is to the original half boxster deck?

(Thanks for the comment on the front. I am not 100% happy with the way it fits but at this point it is what it is! The original got destroyed by some idiot uninsured driver who drove into my car while I was parked pumping gas!

You did a great job on the Mods, like the work on the front. Have you tracked the car before and after the wing to time the difference? The wheels look good too it's so hard to get other than silver and chrome.
