New Radio Install - no sound
 

I have replaced my radio with an Eclipse AVN2210p. (me: 97 Boxster/old radio CR210 w/factory amp) Everything appears to function properly but I have no sound. I recall reading something about an output from my radio that is needed to turn on my amplier; could this be my problem?

I have been unable to find the post that mentioned it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are exactly right. You need to connect the wire that turns on the amp. Your new radio should have a wire which you can connect to the factory harness.

I had the exact same problem with my Pioneer AVIC. Its a simple fix.
