Sorry for delay
Sorry for my delay in responses to this post. I wanted to sell to a group of 986 enthusiasts who will appreciate this car. There have been some great questions by interested parties. But I'm afraid my ignorance about my own 986 S prevents me from answering all your questions timely and accurately.
In South Carolina, the car, AS IS, can be a daily driver. Check-engine light is on, suspension squeaks over big bumps, and other things need attention. No smoke on start-up, newish clutch and IMS bearing, AOS, new coil packs and plugs, new MAF sensor, recent 4 wheel alignment.
But I'm not putting any effort into fixing it. I don't have time. that's why price is $7500. AS IS. Or ... make an offer.
