For Sale: 2002 Boxster S - 6 speed Guards Red with hard top

I'm thinking about selling my Boxster, and figured I would post it here first. Pricing at $13,000

This 2002 Porsche 986 Boxster S shows 110k miles and is finished in Guards Red over a black full leather interior. Power is provided by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
This car is always garaged, and is parked all winter (this year was 11/14/18 - 4/15/19)
The car includes detailed recent maintenance including used oil analysis reports.
Newer O2s, spark plugs, AOS done, New soft-top (in progress), new heater core, new battery, new alternator voltage regulator, new water pump and low temp (160deg) thermostat, updated (997) oil pressure regulator, plenty of other random things.

Per the VIN, these are the factory options:
476 Porsche Stability Management
982 Supple Leather Front and Rear
AH Black Full Leather
G1 Guards Red
P01 Comfort Package
P14 Heated Front Seats Package
P64 Sport Touring Package
P74 Xenon Headlamp Package
V9 Black Top
XMK Roll Bar Painted Exterior Clr
XSC Porsche Crest in Headrest
XSX Seat Belts - Guards Red
Y06 Alum/Lthr Shifter/Brake Handle

662 Porsche Comm Mgmt (N/A Canada) (removed)
414 High Gloss Turbo Look 18" Whl - (Car came to me with the pictured 17s which I like better than the turbo twists anyway)
M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering (these were lost by a previous owner)

Modifications:
Short Shifter, Evolution motorsports intake, secondary catalytic converters removed, wheel stud conversion (much easier to take wheels on and off), vented fender liners, etc.

Stereo upgrades:
Bose speakers and amplifier removed (You’re welcome)
Denon DCT-R1 head unit. (Or bring your own and I will install it)
MiniDSP signal processor (fully customizable crossover, equalizer)
Pioneer GM-D8604 amplifier
Dayton ND-28F 1.125” silk dome tweeters mounted in factory locations
Dayton RS180P-4 6.5” Reference series woofers in factory locations

Known Issues:
Brake pads appear to have about 10k miles left. No warning light yet.
The hood and driver side fender appear to have been repainted by a previous owner. There are minor knicks on the car consistent with 16 years and 110k miles.
I’m not happy with the amplifier mounting. It’s on my list of things to fix this spring.

Not a lot of action yet. When I get a chance I'll put it up on my local PCA classifieds.

I added some more pics to the craigslist post. Here they are for you to enjoy as well!

Bump! Any thoughts on my price?

Looks great, well optioned, well maintained! Anyone who knows these cars well will recognize the value. That being said, most new buyers DON'T know these cars well, and will be put off by the price at 110k miles when compared to less desireable examples offered at a lower price point with less miles. Also, an incomplete aftermarket sound system without head unit will put off many buyers, despite the bones of a nice system being there.
I suggest you put in a working mid-grade head unit, and offer to remove it for credit against the price if the buyer wants to use something else. List it in PCA to get exposure to the type of buyer that will recognize the added value of your car. Then be patient, your buyer will come.

As a fellow 02 S (104k miles) thinking of selling, your price is like houses, depends on inventory and how long your willing to wait. Personally in my area I don't think I could get close to that $$$. That sales price would be closer to what a dealer might sell for. Now I don't have a hard top but my 02 has the good options and lots of preventative maintenance.
I don't want to influence your attempt.
I do think when I get ready to pull the trigger I'm going to research all the various selling sites to come up with a price that works with what is for sale and the prices

Good luck and I hope the market is strong in your area.

Don't waver on the price. Take care of those nickle and dime items... giving your buyer nothing to have to worry about fixing/repairing. Nothing.

Drop in a head unit.

Get the dings removed (PDR).

That's a nice car. Plus... you've the hardtop.

Hold out.

GLWS!!!

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

Had a buyer, but he had submitted an offer on another car that got accepted.

Still for sale! Also, I am now including the head unit (I had attachment issues)

Will you sell the hardtop as a stand alone item?

Thanks! It's hard to take pictures of these cars sometimes. Certain angles can look good in person but fall flat in a photo.

Quick question- interesting licence plate. Any history there?
Beautiful car by the way.
