Boxster for sale

Beautiful car. Can you tell if the IMS and RMS have been addressed, and how old the clutch is?
Any upcoming maintenance/repairs.
GLWS.

Sorry not to have replied sooner. Somehow I am not getting notifications. IMS bearing is original with no problems. Not sure what RMS is? Clutch is original also. Who knows about upcoming maintenance; I fix problems as they occur. Oil and filters were changed at 130000 miles; next scheduled change at 140000.
Complete maintenance history is available by PM if desired.

Rms

Ahh, RMS , Rear Main Seal. In looking at my records, I see that the RMS and IMS seal and shaft were replaced at 16596 miles.

Any updates and trip-reports from the new owner? would be curious to see how it is holding up at 132k + miles and how many miles it has today...

update

The new owner has not reported any problems, but its only been a month. He drove it from here in Wilmington, NC to Richmond, VA with no issues. If anything crops up I'll post.
Meanwhile, the '06 Boxster S I bought to replace the '03 is awesome!

I would like to make some comments about the first take differences I see between the two, most in favor of the '03 design. First is the plain-jane appearance of the door in the '06 vs the '03, which has much more character. I will miss the dipstick, spare tire, and jack in the '03; the '06 has none of these, instead relying on a cheapo bottle of fix-a-flat and a mini air compressor. Much more road noise in the '06, every little grain of sand hitting the underside of the car is heard. It's clear to me that there was a cost cutting effort in the 987 redesign, but hopefully it didn't extend to the drivetrain.
