WTB 01 - 02 Boxster S
 

Hi Folks,

Im in search of an 01 or 02 Boxster S, Standard transmission and preferably in western canada for less than $15k.

Is that CAD or USD? Did you consider my 2003 S? Looking to get $16K USD but IMS is done and car needs nothing to be enjoyed but warm weather. Shipping to the west can be done for around $1500 or so. I had a friend ship a car from Kelowna to Toronto for that much by rail.

Adrian, you really should consider the 2003 for a lot of reasons not the least of which is a glass rear window, glove box and a few other nice things that it has over an '01 or '02.

Hell, fly out to Hog Town and DRIVE the Boxster back. Some real nice roads & scenery over the top of Lake Huron and Lake Superior and you can bee line it through the prairies to the rockies.

I've seen 00-01 S cars in the $14k Cdn range on the West Coast. Some of them sound like they were maintained but I didn't make the trip to check them out. The good ones sell in a few weeks. There appears to be a big step up in price to the '03 cars although they are few and far between. A local guy wants $25k for a low mileage car with minimum maintenance (oil changes only).
