As an immigrant to Oz from the UK, I can't believe how much cars cost, how much insurance costs, how much mechanics cost, how much parts cost etc etc... everything's expensive here! On the other hand, these are much more 'exclusive' over here among the standard Japanese and Holden's (GM). In my 2 years of ownership I've only ever seen 3 other 986's on the road in Sydney.
Looks like a nice car but it's at the upper end of the price scale, good luck with the sale!
