2000 Boxster S, 42k miles

Selling my 2000 Boxster S, 6 speed manual since it is my 3rd car and isn't being used.
I bought it a year ago and have done around 1200 miles since I got it. I did the following so far:
2003 roof with glass window
Added 8 way electric seats with Porsche crest and supple full leather
Activated OBC
New CV boots
New rear wheel bearings
New spark plugs, coil packs and tubes
New serpentine belt
Clear front, rear and side lights
Red seatbelts
New rain trays for roof
new roof pushrods
Mobil 1 0W40 at 41k
18" Sport Design split rims with new Continental DW tires
DSP stereo option and Focal door speakers
New ignition switch for column
H&R rear sway bar installed, front to be fitted

Car now has around 42.5k miles. Rarely used and needs a new home. Arctic silver with black leather.

Located 25 mins from Albany NY
Looking for $14,250 or near offers, no trades as I need to downsize.

I sent you a PM requesting pictures of the car... if it's still for sale, that is.

I did, thank you. Beautiful car! Do you have any pictures of the frame or underbody? I'm sure you keep the car in a garage, but being a northern car I just want to be sure there is no surprise rust anywhere.

I don't at present but it is clean. I just spent time under there doing water pump, test at, engine mount etc. and it is clean with one rust. The car spent last two years with me in the garage. I will try to get some pics.

Car has now had waterpump replaced with Pierburg pump, low temp thermostat, engine mount, coolant tank, AOS, Motul 8100 oil, full leather door cards, Focal door speakers. Ready to drive and enjoy this summer... having 3 Porsche is too much for just me!

Big question is always the IMS - any solution applied there?

IMS has not been replaced during my ownership.

Bump for a nice car that should already be sold. Less than 24 hours on auction:

I'm surprised you got no bids on it. Or did someone came through the backdoor?

I could have bought it for $10K, if it had red interior and was for sale last year before I picked up my 97.

Nedlands 09-28-2017 05:27 PM

Car didn't sell. Not even one bid.....

So now the other two are going and a new car will replace them!

Matt4572 10-02-2017 04:49 PM

Would you still be open to selling the car?

Maybe. Depends upon what I'm offered for it.
